Prebersee — A moor lake at 1,514 m below the Preber peak. Dark calm water, an easy lakeside loop trail, and a famously quiet atmosphere. Best in summer and autumn.
Longa — Naturally winding mountain river through the Weißpriachtal, with clear cold water, waterfalls and protected meanders before it joins the Südliche Taurach near Mariapfarr.
Tamsweg — Lungau's main town — shops, pools, cafés, the St. Leonhard pilgrimage church, and the Samson procession tradition. 12 minutes from Mariapfarr.
