- An area is listed when its report is under 48 hours old, at least one lift is reported open, and it reports open slopes or a snow depth.
- It is ranked by the share of lifts open, the number of open lifts, open slope kilometres, snow depth, and snowfall in the last three days.
- Lift states are what operators reported to SalzburgerLand Tourism, not a promise that a lift is running when you arrive.

Why is an area I know is open missing?
Either its report to SalzburgerLand Tourism is more than 48 hours old, or it reports lifts without slopes or snow — summer gondolas, for example. We leave it out rather than show old numbers.
